In the latest installment of Stacey Dooley Investigates, the London-born presenter travelled to the Phillippines to film the documentary Mums Selling Their Kids For Money.
Seriously, though, when is your child ready to date? "At this age, kids use dating labels but aren’t ready to have much direct one-on-one interaction beyond maybe sitting together at lunch or recess," says Dale Atkins, Ph D, a family therapist in New York.In her latest documentary for BBC Three, Stacey also met women who sexually abuse their own children on webcams. Not only do the mothers featured abuse their children live for paedophiles across the globe, but they also traffic their children for hands-on abuse to travelling paedophiles - many of whom come from the US and the UK.It was because of the Co Abode website that I was able to see for myself that there were indeed other parents out there just like me, with the same needs, and in similar situations, and in different states. This motivated me and gave me the incentive to investigate and explore home share opportunities. The Friend Circle connects single mothers in specialized support groups, for practical solutions such as carpooling, babysitting co-ops, and for social activities.

Stacey, who has spent a decade making films for BBC Three, spends time with an undercover Homeland agent named 'Mike'.
Mike has made contact with the women by creating a fake persona, and to gather the evidence he needed he asked the women what they would allow their children do.
The single parent dilemma is felt the hardest by the children, and as a product of such a household I am lucky enough to have this insight in my dating life.
